Author and motivational speaker Jeff Gaffney has benefitted from a wealth of experiences in his multi-faceted career. The 1987 University of Virginia graduate was an all-American soccer player and football placekicker with a promising career in professional football. Meeting his future wife, Mo, now head of the Covenant lower school, changed the course of that career from football to real estate. Marrying Mo (née Kessler, the daughter of Frank and Peggy Kessler) meant marrying into one of Charlottesville’s most prominent real estate families, and Jeff embraced it. Recognized as both salesperson of the year and REALTOR of the year by the Charlottesville Area Association of REALTORs, Jeff has led Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate III in over $5 billion in sales over the last decade. In addition to his role as CEO for Real Estate III, Jeff leads Glenmore Associates, one of the largest land developers in Central Virginia.
Jeff’s deep faith and a desire to provide an example of a faith-driven life for his four children led him to begin this new iteration of his career. Long a successful motivational speaker in the real estate industry, Jeff began to share his insights and experiences with faith in the marketplace as part of a radio program, Every Day Faith beginning in 2010. The warm reception Jeff has received from both the radio audience, and now with live speaking engagements with church groups, business gatherings, and social gatherings have confirmed his commitment to sharing faith in the second half of his professional life.
